🚗 Konjic – Gateway to Herzegovina

Our first stop is Konjic, a charming town on the banks of the Neretva River, famous for its 16th-century Ottoman bridge and breathtaking scenery. This area has been inhabited for over 4,000 years and was home to the Illyrians, one of the oldest civilizations in the Balkans.

Coffee Break: Enjoy a short break with traditional Bosnian coffee along the river.

🕳️ Optional Visit: Explore Tito’s Bunker, a secret Yugoslav-era nuclear shelter (extra 90 minutes).

🌊 Jablaničko Lake & The Neretva Canyon

Driving along the Neretva River, we pass through the Neretva Canyon, offering some of the most breathtaking views in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Jablaničko Lake, an artificial lake, is surrounded by mountains, villages, and pristine nature—a perfect stop for photos.

🌉Mostar – The Heart of Herzegovina

Arriving in Mostar, the cultural and historical hub of Herzegovina, you’ll explore:
🔹 The Old Bridge (Stari Most) – A UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most photographed bridges in Europe.
🔹 The Old Bazaar (Bazar Kujundžiluk) – Walk through cobbled streets filled with artisan shops.
🔹 Koski Mehmed Pasha Mosque – Enjoy panoramic views of the Neretva River.
🔹 Traditional Lunch (Optional) – Savor Ćevapi, Japrak, or Trout by the riverside.

🏊 Watch Traditional Bridge Jumping! Local divers leap from the bridge into the icy waters of the Neretva River, a tradition dating back centuries.

🌿 Blagaj – The Dervish Monastery on the River Buna

A short drive takes us to Blagaj, home to the Buna River Spring, one of the largest karst springs in Europe. Nestled against a dramatic cliff, the Blagaj Tekke (Dervish Monastery) is a spiritual retreat built by Sufi mystics in the 16th century.

📸 Perfect for Photos: Experience the serene atmosphere and enjoy a drink by the riverside.

🏰 Počitelj – A Medieval Fortress Town

Step back in time as we explore Počitelj, a 15th-century Ottoman town built into the hills overlooking the Neretva River. The Počitelj Fortress, Hadži Alija Mosque, and stone-paved streets make this place feel like an open-air museum.
