Introduction
These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter: General Conditions) are an integral part of all travel contracts between The Globe Balkans (hereinafter: Organizer) and the traveler (hereinafter: Passenger). By signing the contract, the Passenger confirms that they have received and accepted these terms, as well as the travel program and insurance options.
1. Pre-contractual Information
Before concluding the contract, the Organizer may change details in the published travel program. Any such updates will be communicated before signing. If the Passenger does not accept modified terms within 48 hours, the contract is considered terminated.
2. Applications, Payments, and Contract
- Applications may be submitted in writing, email, or through partner agencies.
- A deposit of 50% is required upon booking; the remainder is due 15 days before departure.
- Group trips (e.g. school excursions) require separate contracts with institutions.
- If the full payment is not made on time, the booking is considered cancelled (see section 12).
3. Organizer’s Rights and Obligations
- Deliver all services as defined in the program and contract.
- Inform Passengers of emergency contacts and local partners.
- Provide refunds where services are not rendered, unless due to force majeure or Passenger negligence.
- Not responsible for services provided outside the agreed program.
4. Passenger’s Rights and Obligations
- Familiarize themselves with all travel conditions and documents.
- Pay the agreed price on time.
- Comply with laws, regulations, and visa/travel document requirements.
- Report any complaints immediately in writing.
- Designate another person to travel in their place (see full policy for transfer details).
5. Prices and Services
- Prices are in foreign currency, payable in BAM (KM).
- The basic price includes transport, accommodation, and tour organization.
- Special services (e.g. single rooms, excursions, visas, insurance) are not included unless specified.
- Discounts for children or special offers are regulated by the service providers.
6. Price Changes and Cancellation by Passenger
- The Organizer may adjust prices due to changes in exchange rates, fuel costs, or taxes.
- If the price increases by more than 5%, the Passenger has the right to cancel without penalty.
- Later price reductions do not apply retroactively to confirmed bookings.
7. Categorization and Service Descriptions
- All services are described per local standards and cannot be compared across countries.
- Minor changes in itinerary may occur due to circumstances beyond the Organizer’s control.
8. Accommodation, Meals, Transport
- Check-in is after 4:00 PM; check-out is by 9:00 AM unless otherwise agreed.
- Meals follow local standards and may vary in style.
- Transport is provided by certified carriers; seat assignments may not be guaranteed.
9. Travel Documents, Health, Legal Requirements
- The Passenger is responsible for valid travel documents and visas.
- Special dietary, health, or accessibility needs must be communicated in advance.
- The Organizer is not liable if entry is denied due to improper documentation.
10. Luggage
- Luggage allowances follow airline or bus company regulations.
- The Organizer is not responsible for lost or stolen items unless explicitly handed over for safekeeping.
11. Changes and Cancellations by Organizer
- The Organizer may cancel the trip if the minimum number of participants is not reached (see section 11.1).
- During the trip, adjustments may be made for safety or logistical reasons.
- If major services are not delivered, alternatives or refunds will be offered.
12. Passenger Cancellations
- Cancellation fees depend on when the trip is cancelled
- Valid medical or emergency reasons must be documented for reduced penalties.
- For airline ticket cancellations, airline-specific rules apply.
13. Travel Insurance and Guarantees
- Travel insurance is not included in the tour price.
- Passengers are advised to obtain cancellation, health, and baggage insurance.
- The Organizer acts as a mediator if insurance is arranged through them.
14. Complaints and Dispute Resolution
- Complaints must be submitted in writing immediately during the trip and no later than 8 days after return.
- The Organizer will respond within 8 days of a valid complaint.
- Group complaints will not be accepted unless submitted individually.
15. Tailor-Made and Individual Travel Services
- For trips built on request, cancellation fees differ based on services booked.
- The Organizer acts only as a mediator for individual services like ticketing, car rentals, etc.
16. Data Protection
- Passenger data is handled confidentially and used only for the execution of the travel contract.

17. Final Provisions
- Special rules may apply to school groups, congresses, or niche travel (e.g. sports, hunting).
- If any provision is deemed invalid, the rest of the agreement remains binding.
